A very easy drinking beer based on the traditional Belgian “Patersbier”, which means “Father’s beer” in Dutch. Traditionally brewed by Trappist monks for their own consumption during meals (or when no one was looking). Light, refreshing. Think of it as a monk’s table beer. Simple recipe of German Pilsner malt, German acidulated malt, and saaz hops.
