Product Description
Style: Belgian Ale • 4.8% ABV
Thick, beautiful head. Floral aromas in the nose, as well as notes of citrus, typical of blondes. Medium-bodied, on the lighter side though, almost a bit water-y. Mild acidity and very mild hops. Refreshing and thirst-quenching beer, with good carbonation. Goes well on its own or with lighter dishes, such as sushi or a cream-based pasta, like pasta carbonara.
Historically not sold in the commerce. Only available at Auberge de Poteaupré, Chimay, Belgium, as “Speciale De Poteaupré”. This beer is usually reserved for the use of the Chimay Trappists.
