…in the early 50’s two school teachers from Champaign, Illinois started a small hot dog & Root Beer stand that rapidly grew thru out the Midwest. Soon there were Dog ‘n Suds Drive-In restaurants from coast to coast. Canada, our neighbors to the north, also home to many locations.
The 50’s Drive-In Root Beer stands are nearly a thing of the past whose tale is told thru Hollywood movies. While only a few remaining root beer stands of the era are operating throughout the Midwest, our commitment to ensuring the flavor of the 1950’s remains for future generations.”
