Started in 2008 with the purchase of 20 hectares. In 2009, the first 12 hectares where planted for commercial production, with the following varietals: Nebbiolo, Grenache, Carignan, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Tempranillo. Las Nubes continues to experiment with Italian and French varietals, now with over 15 varietals under hectare for study.
A blend of Tempranillo, Merlot and Nebbiolo this full bodied dark but plush and soft wine sees 6 months in French and American oak. With deep structure from the Tempranillo, fruit and woodsy character the Merlot and a feminine delicate touch with the Nebbiolo make this a very well integrated and unique blend.
