From Chicago’s (and Illinois’) first boutique distillery comes one of their two gin expressions. No. 6 is a vibrant gin to be sure, with aromas of fresh herbs, piney juniper and lemon peels that practically jump from the glass. A silky entry leads to a fruity-yet-dry medium-full body of cracked juniper berry, pink peppercorns, lemon curd, and clove. The finish is a long interplay of resiny juniper and sweet and sometimes spicy citrus tones.
