Pine Barrens is the first American Single Malt Whisky to be distilled on Long Island. Pine Barrens’ mash is a 10% ABV barley wine ale that has a high count of 70 IBUs (International Bitterness Units). Master distiller Richard Stabile first ferments the wash, and then it is double pot distilled. Finally, the wash is aged in petite new American Oak casks to achieve an incredibly unique high-quality single malt whisky.
