Jimmy Russell has been the head distiller at Wild Turkey for well over 50 years, so you know when he puts out his “reserve” bourbons it has to be good. Light and leathery on the nose with a whiff of citrus. Buttery and slightly spicy on the palate leading into a long spicy finish. Jimmy Russell knows bourbon, and he certainly knew what he was doing when he made this 10 year.
